Mangreen has eight delightful and characterful bedrooms, all with recently refitted bathrooms. Each room has FREE Wi-Fi, flat screen TV’s, complementary tea and coffee making facilities… and of course a full English breakfast, with vegan and gluten free options available upon request.
Please be aware Mangreen is a 16th Century Country House and has no lift to the first and second floors.
Queen Anne Superior Double
These rooms are located in the main Queen Anne house on the first floor. We have three in total and all have recently been refurbished and are decorated in a classic style with a fresh feel and new ensuite bathrooms. They all have views of the beautiful garden.

This is our standard bedroom in the Queen Anne house located on the first floor. This bedroom is traditionally decorated in keeping with the surroundings and has a full size bathroom with a standard bath.

This is our small standard bedroom in the Queen Anne house located on the first floor, and for the comfort of our guests we only take bookings for single occupancy for this bedroom. The room is traditionally decorated in keeping with the surroundings and has a new bathroom with a shower.

Loft Style Double Room
Our Loft style standard bedrooms are located on the second floor of the Queen Anne house and are traditionally decorated in keeping with their bright and airy position, and have a new bathroom with a shower.

Dog friendly
Mangreen Country House is proudly a dog friendly hotel and welcomes guests and their doggy friends. With so many great walks in the area it is prime dog-walking country and we know how much your pet means to you.
We politely ask that you keep your dog on a lead at all times in the hotel and don’t allow them on the furniture or beds. We do have an additional charge of £15 per night for one well behaved dog if you would like them to accompany you.
The Terrace Café to reopen in 2024
Mangreen has it’s own coffee shop – The Terrace Café – and is open from Easter weekend until the end of September.
It’s informal and relaxed, but you can always get a freshly made hot or cold drink and something to satisfy that sweet tooth as well as light lunches and sandwiches… simply drop in and we will be delighted to see you.
The café opening times are 10am to 4pm on Thursdays and Sundays, and all proceeds go towards the work of the Mangreen Trust.
